In this role, you will contribute to the urgent care department by delivering patient-centered services, diagnosing conditions, and providing treatment plans for a diverse patient population. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring rapid and accurate medical assessments and interventions, as you play a vital role in enhancing patient health outcomes.

 

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough patient assessments and histories
  • Diagnose patient conditions and develop treatment plans
  • Perform basic procedures and assist in emergency situations
  • Prescribe medications within scope of practice
  • Educate patients about preventative care and treatment options
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide seamless care
  • Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives

Requirements

  • Active Nurse Practitioner or Physician's Assistant license
  • Associate degree in Nursing or relevant field
  • Experience in urgent care or acute care settings is preferred
  • Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Commitment to patient safety and high-quality care

Schedule: Saturday-Tuesday

Shifts: 8p-8a

Must be board-certified
