 This full-time, on-site position offers a unique opportunity to provide high-quality medical care to patients in a fast-paced environment.

As a Locum PA in our Urgent Care facility, you will play a crucial role in delivering patient-centered care, conducting assessments, and providing treatment for a variety of acute medical conditions. You will collaborate closely with our team of healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients, contributing to our mission of excellence in medical practice.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and evaluations
• Provide immediate care for acute medical conditions
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests
• Develop and implement treatment plans
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams for optimal patient care
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
• Educate patients on health management and preventive care
• Participate in ongoing medical training and professional development

Requirements

• Associate degree or higher in Physician Assistant studies
• Current certification and licensure as a Physician Assistant
• Strong clinical skills in urgent care or similar settings
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Commitment to providing high-quality patient care
• Knowledge of medical software and electronic health records
• Basic life support (BLS) certification

Schedule: 12-hour shifts

Setting: Urgent care clinic offering occupational health

Patient Population: Pediatrics through geriatrics

Procedures: Episodic care and injury treatment

Will be working autonomously

EMR: Anthem

Must be board-certified
