. This full-time, on-site position offers a unique opportunity to provide high-quality critical care to patients in a fast-paced medical practice environment.

As a Critical Care Physician, you will play a crucial role in managing life-threatening conditions and coordinating intensive care for patients. Your expertise will be vital in leading a multidisciplinary team to ensure the delivery of exceptional medical care. The role involves not only clinical responsibilities but also collaboration with other healthcare professionals to enhance patient outcomes.

 

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive medical care for critically ill patients
  • Assess and treat patients with acute medical conditions
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop effective care plans
  • Perform procedures as necessary in intensive care settings
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly
  • Communicate effectively with patients and their families regarding care
  • Participate in continuing education and professional development
  • Contribute to the development of clinical protocols and guidelines

Requirements

  • Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
  • Relevant board certification in Critical Care Medicine
  • Experience in a critical care setting is preferred
  • Strong clinical and diagnostic skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
  • Keen attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and education
  • Level III Trauma Center

Schedule: 12-hour day shifts, 7 on/7 off

Call Requirement: 2 days per month

Setting: 33-bed ICU

Daily Volume: 15-16 patients

Support Staff: APP and MD

Must be board-certified
