As an Emergency Medicine physician, you will play a crucial role in providing immediate medical care to patients in critical situations. You will work collaboratively with a skilled team of healthcare professionals to ensure the highest standards of patient care and safety. Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality emergency medical care to patients
• Assess and diagnose patients presenting with acute medical conditions
• Stabilize patients and manage critical care situations
• Collaborate with nursing staff and specialists to create effective treatment plans
• Perform necessary medical procedures and interventions
• Document patient encounters accurately and timely
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and medical audits
• Educate patients and families about health management and treatment options

Requirements

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• Completion of residency in Emergency Medicine
• Active medical license in the state of New Mexico
• Strong clinical skills and experience in emergency care
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
• Knowledge of current medical practices and procedures

Schedule: 12-hour shifts, days and nights

No call shifts

2 facility locations

Annual Volumes: 62k and 90k

EMR: Epic

Must be board-certified
