. This full-time, on-site position provides a unique opportunity for a passionate clinician to work at the forefront of patient care in a dynamic medical practice environment.

In the role of Hematology Oncology physician, you will be instrumental in diagnosing and treating patients with blood disorders and cancers. Collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary team, you will contribute to developing treatment plans and provide comprehensive care to our patients, fostering a supportive and healing environment.

 

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and manage hematological and oncological conditions
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients
  • Conduct patient consultations and follow-up appointments
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
  • Participate in clinical trials and research initiatives
  • Educate patients and families about treatment options and care plans
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
  • Stay informed about the latest advancements in hematology and oncology

Requirements

  • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
  • Residency training in Internal Medicine
  • Fellowship training in Hematology Oncology
  • Current medical license in the state of California
  • Strong clinical skills and patient management experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and education

Schedule: Monday-Friday

No call requirement

Setting: Primarily outpatient, some inpatient available

Daily Volume: 15-18 patients

Patient Population: Adults

Case Split: 60% medical oncology, 40% hematology oncology

EMR: Epic

Must be board-certified
