i. This full-time, on-site position offers a unique opportunity to work in a collaborative and patient-focused environment, providing exceptional care and innovative treatments for oncology patients.

As a Medical Oncologist , you will play a vital role in diagnosing and treating patients with various types of cancer. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to develop comprehensive treatment plans that are tailored to the individual needs of each patient, ensuring the highest standards of care and support throughout their journey. This position is not just about treatment; it is about making a meaningful impact on the lives of patients and their families.

 

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations of oncology patients
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans for cancer patients
  • Provide chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and other treatment modalities
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
  • Educate patients and their families about treatment options and side effects
  • Participate in clinical trials and research initiatives as needed
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation

Requirements

  • Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree
  • Board certification in Medical Oncology
  • Associate-level experience in a clinical oncology setting
  • Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
  • Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
  • Knowledge of current oncology practices and treatment protocols

Schedule: 4 days clinical, 1 day admin

Shift Information: 8-hour days

Call via phone

Patient Census: 18-20

Duties: Focus on the care and treatment of patients with genitourinary malignancies and other solid tumors as needed

EMR: Epic

Must be board-certified
