As a Radiologist you will play a vital role in diagnosing and treating patients through advanced imaging techniques. Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures including X-rays, CT scans, and MRIs
- Interpret imaging results and provide accurate diagnoses
- Collaborate with referring physicians to determine appropriate imaging strategies
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient cases
- Stay updated with advancements in radiology technology and practices
- Provide exceptional patient care and comfort during imaging procedures
- Assist in training and educating medical staff and interns
Requirements
- MD (Medical Doctor) or DO (Osteopathic Doctor) degree from an accredited institution
- Completion of a residency in Radiology
- Strong understanding of diagnostic imaging modalities and techniques
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- Commitment to continuing education and professional development
- Board certification or eligibility in Radiology is preferred
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8a-5p
Backup Call: 1:6 rotation, nights and weekends
Setting: Onsite
Daily Volume: 100 reads on average
Case Rotation: 1 week of IR, 1 week of general diagnostic
New graduates accepted
EMR: Epic
Must be board-certified or board-eligible
