Responsibilities
- Perform MRI scans on patients as per physician orders
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures
- Maintain and operate MRI equipment effectively
- Review and evaluate images for quality and diagnostic value
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals
- Educate patients about the MRI process and answer any questions
- Maintain accurate records of procedures and patient information
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations in the imaging department
Requirements
- Education: Associate’s Degree preferred; graduate of an approved imaging program; required.
- Licensure: ARRT certification required; MRI board certification preferred; Arkansas State Radiation Operators License; required.
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS); required
- 5 years of MRI experience; preferred
