**Shift Details:** - Schedule: Night shift from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM, operating on a 7 on/7 off rotation.

- Availability: Multiple weeks open starting from August 2026. -

 Employment Type: Full-time, focused entirely on inpatient care with no outpatient responsibilities.

**Role Overview:** - Provide comprehensive coverage for various surgical specialties across the hospital during night hours.

- Collaborate with an additional Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to ensure a cohesive approach to patient management.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Respond promptly to all Trauma activations and emergencies.

- Conduct admissions and consults for trauma, general surgery, and urology cases.

- Facilitate admissions for colorectal, thoracic, and orthopedic services as needed.

- Serve as the first contact for inquiries from nursing regarding inpatient surgical specialties.

- Perform bedside procedures, including but not limited to chest tube placements, central and arterial line insertions, and laceration repairs.

- Co-manage patients in the ICU and other critical care settings.

**Certifications and Licensure Requirements:** - AHA-approved Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

- AHA-approved Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.

- Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) certification required prior to the conclusion of the orientation period.

**Education Requirements:**

- Must be a graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.

- A minimum of one year of experience in surgical specialties is preferred; however, new graduates will be considered for this position.
