The Nurse Practitioner (NP) will autonomously oversee and coordinate comprehensive patient care within a high-volume urology clinic, working closely with physicians and multidisciplinary teams.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Delivering thorough outpatient urological care to adult patients.
- Managing a patient load of 15–20 per clinic session, which includes both new consultations and follow-up visits.
- Conducting in-depth assessments of patient health, formulating diagnoses, and developing tailored treatment plans.
- Executing pre-operative evaluations and overseeing post-operative care.
- Educating patients and their families on urological conditions, treatment procedures, pharmacologic therapies, and recovery trajectories.
- Ordering and interpreting a range of diagnostic tests and laboratory results.
- Performing inpatient rounds on an as-needed basis for additional compensation (no on-call duties required).
- Documenting all patient interactions utilizing Cerner / Oracle Health EMR.
- Leveraging AI-enhanced documentation tools to optimize clinical workflows.
- Engaging in continuous professional education and development activities.
- Ensuring compliance with BVHS clinical guidelines and regulatory standards.
**Qualifications:** - Board Certification from either the AANP or ANCC.
- Valid Ohio APRN license (or the willingness to obtain one).
- Relevant clinical experience in urology, hospitalist care, or gynecology (please specify years of experience).
- DEA registration must be secured prior to commencement.
- A clean malpractice history and active license status.
- A recent NPDB Self Query Report (within the last 30 days).
