**Core Responsibilities:**
- Provide comprehensive physician services in alignment with privileges conferred by the Military Treatment Facility (MTF).
- Directly instruct and mentor other healthcare professionals within the boundaries of clinical privileges and responsibilities.
- Conduct thorough examinations, make diagnoses, administer treatments, and prescribe medical regimens within the parameters of training, experience, and granted privileges.
- Deliver preventive and health maintenance care, encompassing annual physical examinations, promotion of positive health behaviors, and enhancement of self-care skills through education and counseling.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests as required and facilitate referrals or consultations with relevant specialists, clinics, or healthcare resources as indicated.
- Exhibit technical proficiency in leading educational initiatives and training sessions for medical staff, delivering lectures, and participating in in-service training for clinic personnel while adhering to governmental and professional clinical standards as well as accepted clinical protocols.
**Schedule:**
- Monday to Friday, 0600-1800, consisting of 8.5-hour shifts.
- No holiday, on-call, or weekend requirements.
**Minimum Qualifications:**
- **Degree:** M.D. (Doctor of Medicine) or D.O. (Doctor of Osteopathy).
- **Education:** Graduate from a U.S. or Canadian medical school or one accredited by the Liaison Committee on Medical Education of the AMA, or a college of osteopathy recognized by the AOA. Alternatively, candidates may be graduates of foreign medical schools with valid ECFMG certification.
- **Certification:** Recognized certifications exclusively from boards that are members of the ABMS or the AOA Bureau of Osteopathic Specialists.
- **Postgraduate Training:** Completion of an accredited residency program validated by the ACGME.
- **Experience:** Sufficient to fulfill clinical competency criteria defined in credentialing protocols.
- **Licensure:** Must hold a current, full, active, and unrestricted medical license in California.
- **Life Support Certification:** Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare providers from AHA or ARC.
