A medical facility in Brattleboro is actively recruiting a full-time Orthopaedic Surgeon to enhance its successful Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine team. This position provides an engaging practice environment, with an emphasis on a specialty in hand or foot and ankle surgery. The role also includes access to the latest advancements in robotic surgery technology and promotes a dynamic lifestyle in the picturesque Green Mountains region.
**Position Overview:**
- Deliver comprehensive orthopaedic care with particular expertise in hand or foot and ankle surgery.
- Operate within a hospital-based outpatient clinic setting.
- Manage a diverse array of musculoskeletal disorders, with multi-trauma cases being referred to tertiary care facilities.
- Employ MAKO robotic surgical technology in state-of-the-art, orthopaedic-designated operating rooms.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team comprising 3 Orthopaedic Surgeons and 4 Physician Assistants.
- Average patient load of 25+ per day.
- Participate in a 1:4 general ortho call rotation, where a Physician Assistant covers first call from Monday to Thursday, with MDs providing backup as needed.
- Utilize Cerner Community Works as the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) platform.
- Benefit from dedicated OR block time and ample opportunities for clinical advancement.
**Qualifications:**
- Board certified or board eligible in Orthopaedic Surgery (REQUIRED).
- For board-eligible candidates, please specify graduation date (REQUIRED).
- Clean malpractice history (REQUIRED).
- Current CPR certification (to be obtained prior to commencement) (REQUIRED)
