In this position, you will assume full responsibility for client engagements from initial planning to final delivery, overseeing and scrutinizing intricate tax returns for high-net-worth individuals, trusts, and private entities. 

Your role will involve direct collaboration with clients to comprehend their financial objectives, pinpoint tax optimization opportunities, and craft proactive strategies that extend beyond mere compliance.

Your responsibilities will encompass advising on estate and gift tax planning, structuring trusts, navigating investment-related tax implications, and developing comprehensive wealth management strategies.

 You'll play a crucial role in guiding clients through significant transactions such as mergers, acquisitions, reorganizations, and liquidity events, ensuring that tax considerations are judiciously managed at every phase.

As the primary contact for clients, you will cultivate enduring relationships while mentoring junior staff and assessing their work for quality assurance. This role provides substantial exposure to complex technical matters and a defined pathway for advancement into senior leadership positions within the firm.

**Qualifications**

- US CPA designation required

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting

- 5+ years of experience in public accounting specializing in high-net-worth tax

- Familiarity with high-net-worth individuals, trusts, and closely held entities

- In-depth understanding of estate, gift, and trust taxation regulations

- Expertise in IRC Sections 671–679 (Grantor Trust rules)

- Knowledge of estate tax and wealth planning strategies

- Experience with family office frameworks and private foundations

- Strong background in tax planning and advisory services

- Experience in reviewing complex tax returns

- Proficient in tax software (CCH Axcess or similar)
