As an Xray Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the X-ray department, ensuring high-quality imaging services, and maintaining compliance with safety regulations. Your leadership will be crucial in fostering a collaborative atmosphere, enhancing patient care, and implementing best practices in imaging techniques.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the daily operations of the X-ray department
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and protocols
• Oversee staff scheduling and training
• Coordinate with physicians and healthcare providers for imaging needs
• Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment
• Implement quality assurance programs to improve service delivery
• Review and interpret X-ray images for accuracy
• Monitor patient care and comfort during procedures
• Stay updated on advancements in radiology practices
• Assist in budgeting and resource management for the department

Requirements

• Associate's degree or equivalent from an approved Medical Radiographic Program
• At least three years of experience in Xray
• Two years of experience as a lead tech or Radiology supervisor
• Effective communication skills
• Participation in ACR accreditation
