Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Audit Manager to lead and manage audit assignments across Chennai and Coimbatore locations. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in statutory audits, taxation, compliance, internal audits, and regulatory matters, along with exposure to AI-driven audit tools. The role requires handling client interactions, managing teams, and ensuring high-quality audit delivery within timelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage Statutory Audits, Internal Audits, and Stock Audits
• Handle Tax Audits, GST compliance, and income tax matters
• Manage statutory compliance under Companies Act and represent clients in ROC matters
• Handle income tax notices, GST notices, and departmental appearances
• Conduct and supervise Field Audits at client locations
• Ensure timely filing of returns and statutory reports
• Review financial statements and ensure compliance with applicable laws and standards
• Coordinate with clients for data collection, clarification, and audit closure
• Guide and supervise audit team members
• Implement and utilize AI-based audit tools for efficiency and data analytics
• Identify risk areas and provide advisory support to clients

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of experience in an audit firm
• Strong knowledge of:
  • Income Tax & GST
  • Statutory & Internal Audit
  • Compliance & Regulatory Matters
  • ROC filings and company law matters
• Experience in handling tax notices and departmental appearances
• Good exposure to AI tools in auditing (data analytics, automation tools, audit software)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and client-handling abilities
• Leadership and team management skills
