Responsibilities of the Role:
    
•    Define and own enterprise infrastructure architecture roadmap.
•    Establish architectural standards for hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
•    Ensure alignment between infrastructure architecture and business objectives.
•    Lead solution design reviews and provide technical governance oversight.
•    Approve infrastructure solution designs prior to implementation.
•    Architect solutions across on-premise data centers and Azure, AWS, GCP, and Alibaba Cloud.
•    Design secure cloud landing zones and governance frameworks.
•    Define identity, network segmentation, and zero-trust architecture models.
•    Lead workload migration strategies (lift-and-shift, re-platform, re-architect).
•    Oversee cost optimization, performance tuning, and resilience design patterns.
•    Drive Infrastructure-as-Code practices (Terraform, ARM, CloudFormation, Ansible).
•    Provide architectural oversight across Linux distributions including RHEL, Rocky Linux, and Oracle
•    Linux, Ubuntu Server (LTS), Debian, SUSE Linux Enterprise, AlmaLinux, and CentOS.
•    Oversee Unix platforms such as AIX, Solaris, HP-UX, and BSD variants where applicable.
•    Ensure OS hardening, CIS baseline enforcement, and patch lifecycle governance.
•    Define kernel tuning, performance optimization, and system reliability strategies.
•    Design high availability clustering and failover architectures.
•    Architect enterprise storage frameworks (SAN, NAS, Object Storage).
•    Oversee file system standards (XFS, EXT4, ZFS, LVM).
•    Ensure enterprise monitoring, logging, and observability integration.
•    Define disaster recovery and business continuity architecture.
•    Ensure infrastructure aligns with ISO/IEC 27001, PCI-DSS, and enterprise governance standards.
•    Define secure architecture patterns for both cloud and on-premise environments.
•    Guide vulnerability management and patch remediation strategies.
•    Architect backup, archival, and disaster recovery frameworks.
•    Participate in internal and external security audits and risk assessments.
•    Identify emerging technologies aligned with enterprise goals.
•    Drive infrastructure modernization and digital transformation initiatives.
•    Evaluate vendors and conduct technical due diligence assessments.
•    Define long-term infrastructure modernization roadmaps.
•    Promote automation-first and DevSecOps practices across teams.
•    Act as technical escalation authority for complex infrastructure challenges.
•    Present architectural strategies, cost models, and risk assessments to executive leadership.
•    Collaborate with ICT Architecture, DevOps, Security, and Application teams.
•    Mentor senior engineers and architects across infrastructure domains.
 

Requirements for the Role:

• Master’s or bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science or Information Technology/ Information Systems Management
• 8+ years of experience in IT infrastructure and enterprise systems.
• 3–5 years in architecture or senior technical leadership role.
• Technical team management experience of similar capacity.
• Strong expertise in:
  • Cloud architecture (AWS/Azure/GCP)
  • Hybrid infrastructure and modernization
  • Enterprise systems integration
  • Architecture governance frameworks
  • Disaster recovery and high availability design
• Deep knowledge of Linux/Unix and Windows enterprise environments.
• Experience in virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V, KVM).
• Experience in Infrastructure-as-Code and automation tools
• Professional Certification in Microsoft, VMware, Dell, Oracle, RedHat any other related technologies
• Commvault backup solution and data replication services technologies.
• Conceptual business knowledge on document management, content management, business process re-engineering, business process management, shared services, cooperate portals and web services.
