SysCom Co is looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our dedicated Admin team in Miami. This full-time remote position is ideal for entry-level candidates eager to kick-start their careers in the defense and space industry. You will play a crucial role in ensuring our financial operations run smoothly and efficiently.

In this role, you will be responsible for processing invoices, managing vendor relationships, and maintaining accurate financial records. Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable transactions accurately and timely
• Review invoices and payment requests for accuracy
• Maintain vendor files and ensure compliance with company policies
• Assist in month-end closing procedures
• Respond to vendor inquiries regarding payment status
• Prepare reports and assist with audits as required
• Collaborate with internal departments to resolve discrepancies
• Support the finance team with ad-hoc tasks and projects

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Basic understanding of accounting principles
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
