We’re Hiring – Creative Art Tutor Wanted

We are looking for a creative, engaging Adult Art Tutor / Art Teacher to deliver weekly evening art classes in Wilmslow (SK9). This is a rewarding opportunity to inspire adult learners in a relaxed, supportive, and community-focused environment.

You will be teaching adults of all abilities – from complete beginners to more experienced hobbyists – helping them build confidence, learn new techniques, and enjoy the creative process.

This role is ideal for an Art Teacher, Art Tutor, Creative Practitioner, Workshop Leader, or Freelance Artist who enjoys teaching adults in a flexible part-time role.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Delivering engaging weekly adult art classes (Wednesdays)
  • Teaching drawing, painting, and mixed media techniques
  • Planning and running structured yet relaxed creative sessions
  • Supporting learners of all skill levels
  • Creating a positive, inclusive and inspiring classroom environment
  • Encouraging student participation and ongoing enrolment

What We’re Looking For

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience teaching or tutoring adults
  • Strong background in fine art, drawing, painting, or mixed media
  • Confident, friendly, and engaging teaching style
  • Ability to plan and deliver structured creative lessons
  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills
  • Reliable and committed to weekly delivery

Desirable Experience

  • Adult education, community learning, or FE college teaching
  • Running art workshops or creative classes
  • Freelance art teaching or studio-based instruction
  • Experience working with beginners and mixed-ability groups
