The Role
We are currently recruiting for a hands-on Assembly / Production Technician to join an established engineering and manufacturing company in Radcliffe, Bury.

This role involves bench-based assembly work, preparing electrical components and assisting with the production of specialist equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Bench assembly of engineering components
• Stripping, preparing and terminating cables
• Soldering electrical connections
• Working from basic technical drawings and instructions
• Carrying out quality checks on assembled parts
• Assisting with light fabrication or welding tasks when required
• Maintaining a clean and organised work area
• Supporting production targets and deadlines

Experience & Skills

• Previous experience in manufacturing, production, or assembly work
• Experience with cable assembly or soldering preferred
• Good attention to detail
• Ability to work with hand tools and small components
• Welding or fabrication experience is an advantage but not essential
• Reliable and able to work as part of a team
