The Retreat at White Birch is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our compassionate team in Simpson. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our healthcare services. You will assist healthcare professionals in providing top-notch patient care, managing administrative tasks, and supporting clinical procedures. We offer a competitive salary range of $49,000 - $55,000 annually, along with comprehensive benefits and opportunities for professional development in a nurturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures
• Prepare and maintain examination rooms and medical equipment
• Obtain and record patient histories and vital signs
• Administer medications and injections as directed by physicians
• Perform basic laboratory tests and assist with diagnostic procedures
• Manage patient scheduling and maintain accurate medical records
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards
• Provide exceptional patient care and support throughout their visit

Requirements

• Associate degree in Medical Assisting or related field
• Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA or RMA) preferred
• Strong understanding of medical terminology and procedures
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
• Proficient in electronic health record (EHR) systems
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
