Material Handler/Forklift Operator – 2nd Shift (Monday–Friday, 3:00 PM–11:00 PM)

Overview

We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical aptitude and proven experience operating forklifts. This role is essential for maintaining efficient material handling and accurate order fulfillment within our facility.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment safely and efficiently to transport products throughout the warehouse.
• Load and unload materials from trucks and trailers, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
• Use warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory, manage orders, and ensure accurate order picking.
• Conduct routine safety inspections and basic maintenance checks on forklifts and equipment.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote operational efficiency and safety.
• Collaborate with warehouse staff and supervisors to meet daily productivity goals.
• Follow all company safety procedures and OSHA regulations at all times.

Qualifications & Experience

• Proven experience as a Forklift Operator or in a similar warehouse/material-handling role.
• Current forklift certification (or ability to obtain certification prior to start).
• Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to troubleshoot minor equipment issues.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems and order picking processes preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform tasks requiring physical activity throughout the shift.
• Excellent teamwork, communication, and time-management skills.
