Job Title: Flux Core / Solid Core Welder or Fitter

Job Overview:
We are currently seeking an experienced Flux Core / Solid Core Welder or Fitter to join our growing team in Fulton, MS. This role is ideal for a skilled tradesperson with a strong background in welding and fabrication who takes pride in producing high-quality work. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, reading detailed blueprints, and contributing to both construction and manufacturing projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform MIG, TIG, FCAW (flux core), and stick welding on a variety of materials, including sheet metal and pipe
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and ASME codes and standards to meet project specifications
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment such as plasma cutters and press brake machines
• Assemble and fit components accurately using measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers
• Safely perform rigging operations and assist with moving materials using cranes or forklifts
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times
• Work collaboratively with team members to complete projects efficiently and meet deadlines

Qualifications & Experience:

• Proven experience in welding and fabrication, preferably in a construction or manufacturing environment
• Strong knowledge of MIG, TIG, FCAW, and stick welding techniques
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Mechanical aptitude and understanding of fabrication processes
• Experience with ductwork, pipe threading, or structural fitting is a plus
• Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
• Familiarity with machining, soldering, and general shop tools is beneficial
