About the Role
Welo Data is looking for native-level Assamese speakers to join a remote freelance AI project. As a Translation Validator, you will review English text alongside two machine-generated Assamese translations, select the better translation, and provide a brief justification. You will also evaluate audio files and their transcriptions for quality and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Compare English source text with two Assamese translations.
• Evaluate translation accuracy, fluency, and overall quality.
• Select the better translation and explain your choice.
• Review audio recordings and transcriptions for quality and accuracy.
• Follow project guidelines and complete tasks within deadlines.

Requirements

• Native-level proficiency in Assamese (written and spoken).
• Good English comprehension.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Translation, linguistics, or language QA experience is preferred.
• Familiarity with Romanized Assamese is a plus.
