AI Development & Multimodal Evaluation — Onsite (San Jose, CA)

Are you a native-level Chinese speaker with a passion for the future of artificial intelligence? We are looking for highly detail-oriented Generative AI Analysts to join our team onsite in San Jose. In this role, you will be at the forefront of AI development, helping to refine and evaluate the datasets that power the next generation of generative models.

What You’ll Do

  • Annotation & Labeling: Perform tasks for Chinese datasets across text, image, video, audio, and multimodal content.
  • AI Evaluation: Review and rank AI-generated prompts and responses to ensure they are accurate and high-quality.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct rigorous checks to identify edge cases, inconsistencies, and issues in model outputs.
  • Workflow Support: Assist in categorizing data, tagging content, and refining evaluation frameworks to improve machine learning systems.
  • Collaboration: Provide feedback on internal tools and work with cross-functional teams to improve annotation methodologies.

Role Details

  • Location: 100% Onsite (San Jose, CA).
  • Commitment: Full-time.
  • Focus: Multilingual and Multimodal Generative AI.
  • Pay rate: $38 USD/hour

What You’ll Need

  • Language Expertise: Native-level proficiency in Chinese and strong English communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Analytical Mindset: Excellent attention to detail and the ability to follow complex technical guidelines.
  • Background: A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience: Previous work in data annotation, content review, or QA is preferred.
  • Specialized Knowledge: A background in Finance, STEM, Legal, Medical, or Coding is highly valued.

Ways to Stand Out

  • AI Familiarity: Experience with LLMs, RLHF (Reinforcement Learning from Human Feedback), or multimodal AI workflows.
  • Technical Skills: Knowledge of Python or scripting is a plus.
  • Data Expertise: Experience with taxonomy creation, evaluation rubrics, or dataset quality initiatives.
  • Multilingualism: Proficiency in additional languages (e.g., Korean, Japanese, Spanish, or French) is an advantage.
