Overview:

Welo Data is looking for careful listeners and skilled transcribers to join a AI training data project for one of the world's leading voice AI platforms. Your work will directly improve how the platform understands Swedish dialect

What you will do:

• Listen to short audio clips and transcribe exactly what was said.
• Follow a clear, well-documented style guide for punctuation, formatting, and audio flags.
• Flag clips with background noise, cut-off speech, or unclear audio using simple codes.
• Work at your own pace — just keep an average of ~125 seconds per task.

Start Date: ASAP

Duration: 3 weeks, with the possibility of extension

Commitment: 10-20 hours per week for up to 6 weeks

Pay Rate: $28.00/hour

Requirements:

• Native or near-native fluency in target locale - Swedish
• Strong written language skills, including awareness of punctuation and sentence structure.
• Reliable computer, high-quality headphones, and stable internet connection.
• Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision in a remote environment.
• Attention to detail and ability to apply structured guidelines consistently.
• Prior experience in transcription, data annotation, or a related field is advantageous but not required.
• Ability to commit to 10-12 hours per week for the full 6-week project duration.
